I stopped by Lowe’s to see the volunteers from the Perryville and North East fire companies, who were hosting a recruitment and community outreach event. Neighbors stopped by for safety information, to learn about volunteer roles, to climb in the trucks, and to connect with the teams who answer the call.
Events like this matter because strong volunteer ranks keep our towns safe and our response times strong.
