Also on August 5, I had the opportunity to attend Rising Sun’s National Night Out, celebrating the bond between neighbors and first responders.
Events like this show what community looks like in action, with people of all ages gathering to thank those who put service above self, and organizations coming together to support one another. I left grateful not only for the insights of our first responders, but also for the sense of connection that makes Rising Sun such a special place. Thank you to the Town of Rising Sun, the Rising Sun Police Department, and the Rising Sun Fire Department for making the evening a success. These are the moments that remind us how strong we are when we show up together.
