I attended Farm Bureau Day in Annapolis. Maryland Farm Bureau leadership walked through the agricultural bills they’re supporting and opposing for the 2026 session.
Later, we attended the hearing on HB272, which, if passed, would positively affect farms with on-farm food service facility licenses.
Grateful to the Maryland Farm Bureau for organizing, to the legislators who stopped in, and to the farmers who made time to be there.
