Growing up in Cecil County, the fair has always been one of my favorite traditions. This year I was proud to take part in a new way, with Team Berge entering a car in the Demolition Derby at Fair Hill Fairgrounds.
With one of my campaign team members, a seasoned derby veteran, behind the wheel, we joined drivers from across the county in a night full of energy, grit, and community spirit. The derby is loud, messy, and fun, but it also represents the resilience and determination that define Cecil County.
I had a great time trackside, meeting neighbors, cheering on our driver, and enjoying one of our county’s most beloved summer events. Thank you to everyone who came out to support Team Berge and celebrate another unforgettable night at the Cecil County Fair.
