I had the privilege of attending the Cecil College Foundation’s Little Black Dress Goes Country event, which brought women in our community together to support scholarships and programs for Cecil College students.
The evening was filled with fun, music, and food, but the purpose was clear: raising funds to expand educational opportunities right here in Cecil County. Events like this show how strong partnerships between education and community can transform lives and open doors for others.
I am grateful to the Cecil College Foundation, the sponsors, and every supporter who helped make this event a success. Investing in education is investing in Cecil County’s future.
