On August 6, I attended the Cecil County Board of Education meeting, where Youth Empowerment Source (YES!) was recognized as Community Partner of the Month. Two students from their Drug-Free Cecil Youth Coalition shared how they are leading prevention efforts in their schools and communities.
YES! supports children, youth, and families across Cecil County through prevention and education. Their work builds confident leaders, strengthens families, and promotes healthier communities.
As a candidate for Delegate, I want to champion the kind of work YES is doing. Organizations like YES show what it means to invest in both people and communities, and I am grateful for their impact.
