I listened in on the first Rising Sun solar farm hearing, which was held virtually. While turnout from the community was small, one resident took the time to share their concerns about how the project might impact their view and quality of life.
Even when just one person shows up, it matters. Every perspective deserves to be heard, and this hearing was a reminder that decisions made in Annapolis can reach right into our backyards.
I will continue to follow this process closely and ensure that the voices of Cecil County are not overlooked. Local concerns should always be part of the discussion before projects move forward.
