I was grateful to attend Tea with the Elders at the Port Deposit Carriage House with the Port Deposit Heritage Corporation, where longtime residents were invited to share their memories and stories of our town. The event created space for living history, connecting generations through conversation and reflection.
Hearing directly from those who helped shape Port Deposit is a reminder that the wisdom of our elders is one of our greatest community resources. Their stories not only honor the past but also guide how we move forward together.
